Vehicle Tracking is increasingly becoming an integral part of running an
efficient and safe operation, Covert Extreme GPS is a GPS covert vehicle
tracking device used for monitoring the travel activities of company, fleet and
private vehicles, and as an aid in keeping travel records for tax purposes.
Covert vehicle tracking systems have proven record of aiding Law Enforcement in the prosecution of criminals. We have assisted with the design & installation of numerous GPS COVERT vehicle tracking systems at both the federal and local law enforcement levels.

The serial port (4) and four "AA" batteries give a sense of the compact size of this device. Case is durable plastic with a weather-proof seal.
The Covert Extreme GPS uses an internal motion detector to shut off the unit if the
vehicle is vibration free for 5 minutes. This allows the unit to operate long
periods of time on a small battery supply.
The Covert Extreme GPS can record location data every 10, 20, 30, and 60 seconds when the vehicle is moving. If you select 10 seconds or 20 seconds the tracking detail will be very good. This is use if you want to verify delivery routes where the stops are short and numerous.
By selecting 30 or 60 seconds you extend the battery life and still maintain
accurate documentation of the stops and starts; perfect for investigations of suspicious behavior.

Activity Reports:
Stored GPS logs are transferred when the unit is recovered allowing routes of travel and stopping times for up to 18 days of logs to be displayed on a digital map.
When looking for suspicious activities, the Activity Report is a good indicator of when and for how long these activities took place.
Data Playback:
The Playback of tracking data is only available with The Covert Extreme GPS and
provides detailed tracking information:
Displays the route the vehicle took including turns and bends. Displays the location of stops and starts. Displays the time of stops and starts. Displays the speed and direction of the vehicle.
This is provided visually on a digital map with street level detail.
Playback allows management the opportunity to verify fleet activity and assess liability based upon employee's driving and work habits.
Playback allows you to verify suspicious activity and identify where and when it occurred and helps promote safe driving.

USA MAPPING software ships with this unit. Alaska & Hawaii maps are available for download at no extra cost. Canada maps are available at no extra cost and must be specified at time of order. Europe maps are available via the Route 66 software which must be purchased separately.
NOTE: COVERT EXTREME GPS Vehicle Tracker function depends on GPS visibility to the sky. GPS visibility may be blocked between tall buildings, or by land features.
