Users can expect 80 hours of vehicle motion on just two (2) AA batteries. The Flash memory holds up to 100 hours of recorded data. The data is transferred by USB port to computer, with three (3) viewing options. Text reports give detailed breakdowns of daily activities. Information includes:

The software that is provided includes animated, digital street maps where the user may review all or portions of a trip. The path is clearly identified and color-coded to isolate various speeds. The path traveled and the stops can also be displayed on the popular Google Earth program. A powerful magnet allows rapid installation of the Car Tracker Pro II.

The water-resistant frame makes outside mounting possible. When the vehicle is not in use, an on-board motion sensor puts the unit in “sleep” mode to save battery power. Additional improvements in this model include a power switch, easy-access battery compartment and LED status lights. An optional accessory cable allows the Car Tracker Pro II to connect to a cigarette lighter or other 12-volt power source.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES:

Vehicle Connector: The bare lead power adapter with in-line fuse, provides extended power capabilities for the Car Tracker Pro II. Simply attach the red wire to your constant positive power source and the black cable to your vehicles ground.

Vehicle Power Adaptor: This vehicle power adaptor with built-in fuse, provides extended power capabilities for the Car Tracker Pro II. Simply plug the cable into your vehicle's power jack. Please keep in mind that some vehicles lose power to the jack when the key is in the off position.
